The use of digital x-rays in comparison to conventional x-ray methods allows for a reduction in radiation exposure of up to 90 percent. In addition, the annoying waiting period that previously occurred because of the time needed to develop the x-ray films is eliminated, not to mention the environmental impact of the developing solution and film material.

The x-ray appears immediately on the monitor, allowing us to refer to it during the implant consultation.
